Amorgos International Film Festival
Parashakti returns to the breathtaking Amorgos International Film Festival in Greece from November 14-19, 2024, marking her second year as a special guest! Set on the enchanting island of Amorgos, the festival promises an immersive experience filled with profound artistic exchange against a backdrop of ancient ruins, traditional Amorgian culture, and awe-inspiring seascapes.
Among the festival’s highlights is an exclusive guided tour of the iconic Byzantine I.M. Panagia Chozoviotissa—a sacred clifftop monastery and revered island landmark. Guests are invited to explore the legendary village of Arkesini, where panoramic plains meet the ruins of ancient Arkesini, home to a majestic Hellenistic-period tower that echoes with history.
In 2023, Parashakti captivated audiences with her transformative Dance of Liberation documentary and the Winged Ones® jewelry collections. She’s honored to return, joining a distinguished global community of filmmakers and visionaries from over 20 countries, with more than 100 outstanding films and inspiring speakers. The Amorgos Film Festival is truly a celebration of art, history, and cultural magic that awakens the spirit.

Dan Perrett is an accomplished film editor and producer with over 16 years of experience in the industry, specializing in documentary storytelling. His recent work includes producing and editing the feature documentary Dance of Liberation, which joins a notable list of his projects like The Highest Pass, The Polygon, and Warrior One—all of which have been featured in prominent film festivals, including the Newport Beach Film Festival.
Driven by a passion for documentary film, Dan has mastered the art of uncovering powerful stories from extensive raw footage. His technical proficiency includes advanced effects, color correction, format conversion, music editing, and more, allowing him to handle all post-production requirements independently and create compelling, high-quality films.
